Default Prevention and Financial Literacy: Financial Literacy Online

Program Teaches Students Personal Finance for Free

Now students can learn about personal money management at no cost to them or their schools. NSLP announces the release of Financial Literacy Online, a convenient, online learning center that helps to educate students about budgeting, contracts, credit, credit history, financing education and identity theft.

NSLP developed the program because trends show it’s even more important than ever for students to develop a solid understanding of their finances. NSLP also recognizes that financial aid administrators need some help as they have a great desire to teach students about such matters, but often lack the resources and the time to do so.

All students need to do is register at www.nslpflonline.org and begin taking the six short courses. School administrators, lenders and parents are also invited to register and take the courses. For more information about the program visit www.nslpflonline.org or to find out how to promote the program on your campus contact flonlinecs@nslp.org or 888-454-4668.
